Eligibility & The Holy Vow
Our platform is not a casual dating app. To use Faith Before Face, you must meet the following criteria:
- Age Requirement: You must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to register. Any account found to belong to a minor will be immediately deleted.
- Intent: You must be legally single and genuinely seeking a God-honoring, covenant-focused relationship that may lead to marriage.
- The Holy Vow: Upon registration, you must digitally agree to our community standards, affirming your commitment to approach relationships thoughtfully, prayerfully, and respectfully.
The Faceless Protocol
Faith Before Face is founded on the principle of prioritizing the spirit over the flesh. By using our service, you agree to strictly adhere to the Faceless Protocol:
- No Personal Media: You are expressly prohibited from attempting to upload, link to, or share personal photos or videos anywhere on your public profile.
- Spiritual Aliases: You must use a platform-approved alias. Real names are forbidden in public discovery to protect your identity.
- Violation Consequence: Attempting to bypass the Faceless Protocol (e.g., by sending image links in chat before a mutual reveal) is a direct violation of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination.
Communication Guidelines
We designed our communication tools to foster deep, intentional conversations:
- Contact Information Sharing: Sharing phone numbers, email addresses, or social media handles during the initial stages of communication is strictly prohibited. Our automated systems will block such information to ensure safety.
- Voice Note Unlock: Voice messaging is unlocked only after a sustained period of meaningful conversation. You agree not to attempt to circumvent this timeline.
- Decency & Respect: Harassment, vulgarity, hate speech, or any language contrary to Christian community standards will lead to a permanent ban.
Membership & Subscriptions
To maintain a high-intent community and reduce bots, Faith Before Face operates on a membership model:
- Subscription Fees: Membership begins at $4.99–$10.00 per month. By subscribing, you authorize us (through our third-party payment processors like Stripe/PayPal) to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No prorated refunds are provided for partial months.
- Scholarships: We believe finances should not hinder a God-ordained union. Scholarship requests for membership assistance can be made by contacting our support team and are granted at our sole discretion.
The Covenant Exit & Reactivation
We celebrate when members find a meaningful connection and wish to transition off the app:
- Leaving Together: If two members mutually agree to leave the platform together, their accounts will be transitioned to an "Inactive" status, and their profiles will be removed from the Discovery feed.
- Manual Reactivation: Because our platform is designed for serious commitment, reactivation of an account after a Covenant Exit requires manual review by our administration. We will verify the separation with the former match to ensure transparency and community safety before granting reentry.
Account Termination
Faith Before Face reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice or liability, if we determine that you have violated these Terms of Service, engaged in fraudulent or deceptive behavior, or otherwise compromised the safety and sanctity of our community. Banned users are not eligible for subscription refunds.
